LAWS13015 Principles of Commercial Law
This course builds on the knowledge gained in LAWS11061 Contracts A and LAWS11062 Contracts B. First, topics that are relevant to the nature of specific legal relationships have been chosen for this course. Topics included in these courses are bailments, goods sales, business organisations and agencies. Moreover, subjects have been chosen that relate to the use of rules of commerce. Finding the ideal solution to a particular legal issue is the essence of commercial law practice. This requires accurate diagnosis now and in the future, and the main goal of this unit is to teach you the diagnostic process using the topics as common examples.
