Part 4: Meeting (role play)

This is an in-class, group assessment.

All parts of the observable tasks must be performed to a satisfactory level as indicated in the criteria section of the Assessor Feedback and Observation Checklist.

Scenario

You are a member of the Plan2go Senior Management Team.  All members of the Senior Management Team have drafted a policy, procedures and plan to manage the team issues outlined in Appendix 1.

You must now consult with the Senior Management Team to gain consensus on how to manage and resolve the Customer Experience Team’s issues and corrective action.  

In this task you will be required to participate in a team meeting. You will: 

• present your ideas on how to resolve the issues using leadership strategies (approx. 10 min)
• provide feedback to others on their ideas
• reach agreement on a recommendation on corrective action and learning/support to present to Tobias Ukestock.

You should refer to the list of criteria provided in the Observation Checklist to understand what skills you are required to demonstrate in this section of the assessment.

The observable component may be:

• Recorded in your workplace, facilitated in an online environment such as MS Teams, Adobe Connect or other mediums or carried out in the classroom.

After the meeting:

Write an email to Tobias Ukestock (Leader People and Culture) outlining and seeking support for your recommendations.
