Assessment Task 3:

The advocacy plan is to be aligned to your Task 2 setting, where you identified the components of the policy process to progress Health in all Policies (HiAP). Please refer to your Task 2 assessment. Your advocacy plan should draw on this insight to identify and justify who to advocate to and what to advocate to them about.

Part A) Advocacy plan
Complete the table below. You need to identify three (3) audiences/stakeholders that are involved in the policy process. These will be the audiences you will advocate for a HiAP approach. In the table below, identify:

• Three intentional audiences to advocate to;
• The message you want to convey to each audience;
• How you will frame your message; and
• How you will deliver your message.

Part B) Advocacy Products
Develop two (2) different advocacy products that you can use to advocate to two (2) of you audiences in your advocacy plan (Part A).

Using the relevant genre and template from your learning materials, devise two completed advocacy tools of different genre (approximately 400 words each). Don’t forget to include the key messages, media bites and knowledge of how to frame your messages to specific audiences in your advocacy products.
