SENG205 Software Engineering

ASSESSMENT DESCRIPTION:

You can choose/select any website/application/system/software as a reference for their project from the following domains (industries) to investigate, analyse, and design:

• University Learning Management System
• Online Mall (Example: Amazon)
• Online Bill payment System
• Insurance Provider
• Online Food Ordering System

Once you select the project, you need to analyse it in order to complete Software Requirement Specification document that relates to the selected project.

Students need to submit a System Requirement specification (SRS)Document, which contains the following design elements (using UML notations):

The document structure is as follows (2500 words):

1. Recommended software engineering process model for your project and the justification (factors for selecting the process model)
2. Identify all the actors and use cases for your system
3. Use case diagram to represent the complete system
4. Sequence diagrams for any 2 scenarios of your choice
5. Class diagram for the complete overall system
6. System Specification including technical, economical and operational feasibility
7. 5 test cases to test any 5 requirements/functionalities//interfaces of the system
8. Conclusion
9. Reference List

Your report must include:

• At least 10 references, 5 of which must be academic resources, 5 of which can be reliable, high-quality professional
• Use Harvard referencing for any sources you use
• Refer to the Academic Learning Support student guide on Reflective Writing and how to structure reflective paragraphs

ASSESSMENT SUBMISSION:

This Tutoring should be submitted online in Moodle through Turnitin.

The Tutoring MUST be submitted electronically in Microsoft Word format. Other formats may not be readable by markers. Please be aware that any assessments submitted in other formats will be considered LATE and will lose marks until it is presented in Word.
